COVINGTON, GA – Bridgestone Golf ambassador Brandt Snedeker captured his 12th professional title this past Sunday with a nine-shot victory at the Fiji International, an event co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour of Australasia and European Tour. Ranked 23rd in the world, this was the 35-year-old Tennessee native's first international win.
Contested under extremely windy conditions at Natadola Bay Golf Club in Fiji, Snedeker's margin of victory was the largest this season on the European Tour. He trusted a combination of Bridgestone equipment to battle the elements and find the winner's circle, including the Tour-B330 ball, JGR driver (9.5 degrees), J15 cavity back irons (4-P), J15 Black Oxide wedges in 52 and 56 degrees and the "Sneds" inspired e-Glove. Brandt's stellar play in Fiji comes just one week after he helped the United States recapture the Ryder Cup at Hazeltine National in Minnesota.
In addition to Snedeker, Bridgestone's Tour Staff includes Matt Kuchar, Masters winner Fred Couples, three-time major champion Nick Price, young star and recent Web.com Tour Finals winner Bryson DeChambeau, and LPGA Tour stars Stacy Lewis, Paula Creamer and Karrie Webb.
